From the President's Desk
A personal request from the President.I have become bogged down with doing two things each day/week and it is taking away my time and energy from my Presidential duties. Newsletter - I am the one who collects the copy, edits and sends out the weekly newsletter and I need help with this so that I can concentrate on the future Club development. Is any member willing to donate a few hours (maybe 4 - 5
hours) each week to help? Check Email box - I am also looking for someone to check the info@chingmaiexpatsclub.com email box each day and deal with the queries that come in - maybe 15 minutes a day - which can be done from home. If you missed the Expat Connection Meeting on 26th July, you missed a treat. It was a health focused, interactive and humorous presentation
which followed the requests made in the Health Survey undertaken by us recently. We are listening to what you are telling the Club and all we need is for you to support us in our endeavours to provide what you ask us to do. There was an increased Sponsor presence and the room had a buzz to it which is a great improvement on the recent past. We do listen to what you say in your survey answers and we are putting them into action so please take the time to complete our surveys.
All the survey answers are carefully considered as we plan forward. We want to thank everyone who participated in our Christmas Dinner interest survey! Most respondents are keen to celebrate with a traditional or buffet-style meal in the 1,300–1,500 THB range. There’s a strong desire for a festive, welcoming atmosphere—with the option of wine available separately—and special touches like a great menu, networking, and some relaxed entertainment to make it a memorable
occasion. Do make a point of coming to the next Expat Connection Meeting in September. Robert Brake

The Club's Website, and other AI developments.A weekly update: There is a steady stream of items being updated on the website but it takes time to pull it all together. We are still at the testing phase, but things are structurally looking fine. The sponsor page is now working in the main site at https://chiangmaiexpatsclub.com/sponsors/ (after a great deal of work by the Team) if any one wants to have a look. This page is not yet linked from the main menu so there isn't yet a way for you to see it except by clicking the link above. As President, I am showing you this so as to update you on progress being made behind the scences. This is very much against the advice of the
CEC Website team so please just look and comment to info@chiangmaiexpatsclub.com and I will screen the comments before passing them onto the team.
Warning - testing like this throws up mistakes and errors - that's why we live test so please bare with us while this is underway.

Colorectal Cancer Screening: Early Detection Can Save Your Life Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Similar to all cancers, early stage colorectal cancer is curable, but usually asymptomatic. Most patients do not realize they have cancer. The good news is that regular screening can detect pre-cancerous polyps or cancer at an early, highly
treatable stage. Screening methods like the stool test or colonoscopy are safe, effective, and could mean the difference between a full recovery and late-stage treatment. Don’t wait for symptoms early screening could save your life. 📦 Colorectal Cancer Screening Program • ✅Fit test • ✅Stool DNA Methylation Test for Colorectal Cancer • ✅Optional Colonoscopy (special rate if further investigation is needed) Starts from only 28,000 THB •
