I wanted to let you know we will go ahead as planned with our General Meeting
tomorrow.
I have spent this morning walking all over downtown, especially around the Duangtawan Hotel, and other than Chang Khlan road it is almost totally dry. Chang Khlan is actually only a problem for a few blocks either side of the Marriott, and even then it's passable. A boat might come in handy in places though. Just kidding!
I would suggest that the best way to
approach the hotel to avoid Chang Khlan altogether is to come from the west side. The hotel is on Loi Kroh road, which runs one-way west to east, you’ll have smooth sailing (no pun intended) all the way.
